When clients face bet-the-farm lawsuits, they need lawyers with the experience to manage opposing counsel, the knowledge and skills to draft compelling briefs, and the talent to convince a judge or jury that they are in the right. Nabil is that kind of lawyer, and has been named a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers every year since 2019 as a result.

Prior to joining Orsus Gate, Nabil spent his entire career at Reed Smith LLP, one of the largest international law firms in the world.  As a member of the firm's award-winning product liability team, he represented medical device, pharmaceutical, industrial, and consumer products manufacturers in high-stakes litigation.  Nabil’s practice has taken him to both state and federal courts throughout the country.

In addition, Nabil has counseled clients during the difficult stages of product recalls.  He has also represented clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including breach of contract, negligence, fraud, breach of an insurer’s duty to defend and indemnify, violation of RICO, violation of state consumer protection statutes, violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Nabil is a lifelong Angeleno with deep ties to the community.  Between representing institutional clients as diverse as medical device manufacturers, life insurance companies, and even a professional hockey team, Nabil has always maintained a solid pro bono practice.  He has represented clients in adoption hearings, guardianship matters, u-visa petitions, and asylum claims. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) where he was a member of the Litigation Section’s Executive Committee and a lecturer with LACBA's Small Claims Clinic and Workshop. Nabil is also a volunteer soccer coach with AYSO Region 13 and a member of the Board of Trustees for La Salle College Preparatory in Pasadena, California.

When he's not lawyering, Nabil can be found enjoying all that Los Angeles has to offer with his wife and two young sons.  You may also find him at a Los Angeles Galaxy game, reading science fiction and fantasy, or barbecuing in his backyard for family and friends.
